Bag closing lines

Bag closing units consisting of column and sewing head. Optionally with bag feeder and conveyor belt, as well as other applications.

Control

The sewing head is controlled by sensors that do not belong to the sewing machine. Photocells, drag switches and any sensors that transmit the necessary signals to the external control can be used.

Presser foot system

Vertical presser foot system. Separately adjustable chaining and presser foot pressure for optimum bag transport. Presser foot with independently ressillent chaining section to protect bag material and machine. Low thread tension reduces the risk of thread breakage.

Centrally lubricated oil system in a closed housing with oil filters and parts protected against rust.

Bag feeder

Bag feeder for secure feeding of the bag to be closed. Available in different variations. Bag feeder with top edge trimming for bag closing with crepe tape or subsequent over-taping of the seam with self-adhesive crepe tape. Ask your Union Special partner or us for more detailed information.

Conveyor belt

Conveyor belts for bag closing machines are available in various designs on request. The standard length for simple belt conveyors with a belt width of 400 mm is 2.0 to 4.5 m, depending on requirements. Other lengths and attachments are available on request. The motor-driven, height-adjustable conveyor belt has a minimum length of 2.5 m. The maximum length is 4 m. Our conveyor belts are optionally available with inverters.
